This stunning Art Deco emerald and diamond target ring is set in 18ct yellow gold. The emerald gemstones are princess cut and the diamonds are round brilliant cut. As this is an original Art Deco ring we do not take the diamond out of its setting to have the stone graded as there is a risk of damaging the setting and the emeralds. That said, we can estimate the diamond size and grading in the setting due to our 100 years of experience in assessing jewellery pieces like this one. The centre diamond is approx. 0.55ct and is surrounded by 0.47ct of diamonds so that the estimated total weight is 1.02ct. The main inclusion sits to the side of the diamond and is a white feather that is not visible to the naked eye. We would grade the stone i1 in clarity. The colour is approx. K. A lot of diamonds used in this period of jewellery making (circa 1920) were made with stones of this quality. We do not think this detracts in any way from the beauty of a true antique like this ring.
