Jadeite is one of the few gems that can be made into rings or bracelets without the support of a metal mount. The stone is of huge historical and cultural importance in China with fine green coloured pieces commanding high prices.
The ancient Aztecs believed Jadeite had the power to relieve pain in ones side. Jadeite also represents good luck and success.
