Polish is the overall condition of the facet surfaces of a finished diamond. Different factors can affect the grade of polish that's given to a diamond such as polish lines still visible at 10x magnification or with the naked eye. Diamond polish is graded on a scale of Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair and Poor. Due to its extreme hardness diamonds will take and keep the best polish of any gemstone.
