When this occurs it is called spiderweb turquoise. The most valuable and possibly most popular turquoise is an attractive, clear, medium blue.
Turquoise has been used in jewellery and carvings since the Ancient Egyptians and it is also the national gem of Tibet. It is said to bring good health, luck and protection.
